This course introduces you to Human Factors and explains the concept and its relevance to the Aviation industry as defined by EASA Part 145.A.30(e).
Description
This E-learning session makes use of online presentations and is designed to satisfy the training requirement for Human Factors as defined by EASA Part 145.A.30(e).
The course introduces you to Human Factors and explains the concept and its relevance to the Aviation industry. It looks at significant historical events and relates them to current legislation and organisational developments.
Students will learn some basic error models and the “Dirty Dozen” concept before employing them to analyse genuine case studies. Then, looking at human limitations and how these can be affected by some of the aviation industry’s more unique hazards.
Finally, the course will explain the “Just” and “Safety Culture” ethos before highlighting everyone’s responsibility to understand and observe Human Factor issues with the Aviation industry.
