Fuel Tank Safety (Continuation)
This course is designed to fulfil the training requirement of Fuel Tank Safety Continuation Training as required by EASA ED Decision 2009/00/R Appendix IV to AMC 145.A.30(e) & 145.B.10(3).
Description
This e-learning session makes use of online presentation and is designed to fulfil the training requirement of Fuel Tank Safety Continuation Training as required by EASA ED Decision 2009/00/R Appendix IV to AMC 145.A.30(e) & 145.B.10(3).
The course will give students an overview of historic events and how this led to the concept of Fuel Tank Safety and its associated legislation. Students will then learn about the theoretical factors of fuel tank explosion and how legislation had developed to mitigate the risk to as low as reasonably practical. The course goes on to cover the methods of flammability reduction and the risks they present to maintenance staff.
Finally, the students are introduced to the general principals and precautions of fuel tank entry.
